What your score measures
Your resume is scored out of 100 across 5 areas.
Strength of your achievements
Checks for specific contributions, scope and outcomes. Numbers are optional.
Structure & contact details
Checks contact details, sections and role information. This does not test the original file's layout or ATS compatibility.
Clear writing
Looks for active verbs, short sentences, Australian English and no filler phrases.
Match to this job
Compares your resume with the attached job advertisement. Not assessed without an ad.
Ready to send
Checks unfinished entries, links and repeated bullets. Optional sections do not reduce your score.
Tailor it to a job
ApplyLab tailors your resume to each Australian job ad, using only your real experience.
